My goal is for you to have a superior experience with my firm. A superior experience with a law firm begins with a superior experience in communication. Over the years I have developed and implemented many different systems to help me achieve the goal of communicating effectively with my clients. I know that my clients want timely responses to their phone calls so I have what I call a "phone block." Everyday I have a block of time set aside to return phone calls. If you call me and I am not available you will be invited to set an appointment during my phone block. My phone block is at different times throughout the week so I can accommodate just about everyone's schedule. The feedback on this system has been great so it is a permanent part of my practice.
I will educate you
I spend a lot of time educating my clients. I have an informational packet that will be a big part of our initial consultation. This tool will assist me in answering all of your questions and explaining all of your options. I promise that you will have all the information you need to make informed decisions about your financial future after your consult with me, and the consultation is free.
I will make it easy
Most bankruptcy attorneys have a workbook and it's usually rather long. To my knowledge, I am the only attorney in town who will take the time to help you complete this workbook. I can usually complete most of the workbook with you before the end of our first meeting. It is a huge time saver for you because you won't have to wonder if you are doing everything correctly. I will also provide you a type written list of documents that I need and an expando file with separately labeled folders to organize the documents. I will obtain a commercial grade, three source credit report that automatically downloads to my computer so there is no need to make a list of your creditors. I will also enroll you in the credit counseling class and the financial management class which can be done online or over the phone in the comfort of your home. I will also prepare the petition, statements and schedules for you (it's usually 30-40 pages long), review them with you as you sign them, electronically file the documents with the bankruptcy court, attend the 341 hearing with you, handle reaffirmation agreements, obtain a discharge order and remain available to you until a closing order is received.
