There are a number of reasons hiring a debt settlement company may not be in your best interests. Many people facing debt problems have been drawn to debt settlement companies and regretted it for the following reasons:
- Debt settlement is too expensive: Even if you are hiring a reputable debt settlement company, the fees you have to pay the company may not be worth whatever debt relief you see.
